Stress Management

Aims

To enable each person taking part in the program to identify stress symptoms and their causes, then to develop the personal strategies most suitable for controlling and dealing with stress.

Objectives

  1. Accept stress as a fact of life.
  2. Understand that stress need not be an enemy.
  3. To understand the effects that stress has on the body.
  4. To understand the effects that stress has on the mind.
  5. Be able to identify symptoms of stress.
  6. Identify personal ways to deal with stress.
  7. Have a greater self awareness.
  8. Be able to truly relax.
  9. Understand the relationship between deep relaxation and stress.
  10. Be able to develop the ability to self-induce deep relaxation
