The first stage before beginning any form of therapy is the initial consultation. This gives us both the chance to speak to each other, get to know each other and together decide if I am the right person to help you.
The consultation takes between 15 and 25 minutes.
Online therapy gives you access to professional therapy sessions in the comfort of your own home (or some other private location), without having to travel to appointments.
These sessions are convenient (as you have no travel time - this is particularly nice in the cold winter months), they save you money (as there's no need to use up petrol, pay for a taxi or buy train/bus tickets) and they enhance your privacy, as there is no need to sit in a waiting room with other people or walk from a busy street into a therapy centre. This form of therapy also allows much more flexibility, as I can work with clients anywhere in the world, making the therapy ideal for people who are away from home on holiday or business, for example.
Telephone therapy offers many of the advantages of online therapy, but with the advantage that you can access the therapy anywhere you can get a phone signal. Some people prefer not to use video messaging, as they feel self-conscious using such a medium. If this is you, then telephone therapy could be a very good choice.
The traditional form of therapy. There are some advantages of face-to-face therapy (depending on your personality and preferences) but on the whole, what can be done face-to-face can be done remotely.
In the near future, I hope to make available some recorded material for low level intervention, such as a relaxation session. This site will be updated as soon as such material becomes available
